Hi my name is Tim Farr welcome to my Blog,
In 2004 while at university I had a skiing accident which left me paralysed from the waist down. As you will see I have not let this stop me. I am still the same person I was before my accident, life goes on.
Since my accident I have finished university and competed in the great south and north runs, I have played wheelchair basketball and still water ski, within a year I was back on the ski slopes. Last year I got in to the British Adaptive ski teams development squad.
In this blog you will be able to follow my pursuit to become one of the best of the best in my sport and follow my races, training and activities as I try and get to the Winter Paralympics in Vancouver 2010.
I hope this site will banish the myths that people in wheelchairs can’t do anything and live a full life and will inspire both abled and disabled people to get out there and be active. If you want to do something there is always a way to do it.
